{"id":1579,"date":"2024-10-14T19:22:52","date_gmt":"2024-10-14T18:22:52","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/industrialheritageireland.info\/Blog\/?p=1579"},"modified":"2024-10-14T19:22:52","modified_gmt":"2024-10-14T18:22:52","slug":"belfast-railway-network","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/industrialheritageireland.info\/Blog\/index.php\/2024\/10\/14\/belfast-railway-network\/","title":{"rendered":"Belfast railway network"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>With the opening of Grand Central Station in Belfast, this has led to a downgrade in one section of railway, that from Belfast Central Junction to City Junction.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Prior to the closure of Great Victoria Street, trains to\/from Dublin ran to Lanyon Place via the old Belfast Central Railway line, departing at Central Junction.
