This publication is a book of 30 postcards, each one being a print of an historic railway poster representing rail travel in/to Ireland as published by the different railway
companies/tourist concerns that either operated on the island of Ireland or provided connecting services to Ireland.
There is a reasonable mix of different subjects - covering Irish scenery, ships (necessary as Ireland is an island) and infrastructure (such as Bleach Green Viaducts).
As these posters were aimed at the general public, there are very few trains in the images (railway buffs didn't need encouragement to travel to Ireland!) I could
count only one postcard where the train was the main image - and this was the Irish Mail - which operated exclusively in England and Wales.
