The Past and Present format is to take an historical photograph and retake a modern day photograph at the same location and compare the two. Michael Baker has done an excellent job of this. Published in 1995, if he were to repeat the exercise today, as much change again has probably taken place in the last ten years, most of it negative from a heritage perspective. One small factual error that I noticed concerns the present Dalkey station which is not that used for Atmospheric services, which was half a mile further north.
