The introduction to this book, whilst factually correct with regard to trams, leaves a lot to be desired in the filler. The author falls into the classic English trap of reference to Eire, Londonderry and refering to Britain as "the mainland". The tramway systems covered in the reproduced postcards are: * Belfast * Derry * Giants Causeway * Portstewart * Cork * Dublin * Galway * Hill of Howth As befits a tram system, most of the photographs are of streetscapes with little of IH interest involved. However, as a photographic record of Ireland's tram systems, it is a useful publication of photos that would not necessarily make it into the wider public sphere.
