Site Description

There were both Up and Down platforms here, but the latter, on which is the station building, now a private residence, is overgrown. The goods area, complete with store and a loading bank was on the Down side behind the station. There was previously a signal cabin on the Up platform. The line runs along the shore of Larne Lough from here to before Larne Town, passing over a sea inlet, Oldmill Bay, about a mile north of Ballycarry.
