Site Description

There is no trace remaining of the station that was here, the penultimate station on the line. North of the station, the line ran through Capecastle Tunnel, one of only two narrow gauge tunnels in Ireland. The stationmaster here was paid jointly by the Ballycastle Railway and a local quarry with the former paying 12s and the latter 4s/week.
