Site Description

Opened in 1907, there is an attractive, 3 arch road overbridge at the Dublin end of the station. This was erected in 1912 to replace a level crossing and is a remnant of a plan to quadruple the line from Belfast to Knockmore Junction. The former goods area is on the Down side at the Dublin end of the station, where there was also a signal cabin. There are both Up and Down platforms here.
