Site Description
There is a single platform on the Down side. The now closed Portland Cement Works facility can be seen on both sides of the line here. The bridge spanning the station is an accommodation bridge connected to this facility and immediately north of the station, there are three underbridges which also provided access to this. 2 of these are concrete, LMS(NCC) era bridges with the date in the concrete (1934 and 1951).Photographs
