Mossley West is a single platform station on the Down side of the line which first opened in 2001 as part of the process of rerouting trains to/from Derry via the line from Bleach Green Junction to Antrim. At the Antrim end of the station, there is an overbridge which has
been adapted as an aquaduct.
Near to the station is Mossley Mill, a former mill which is now the offices of Newtownabbey Borough Council.
