Site Description
Approaching the station, the goods area and store were on the Down side with the signal cabin opposite. There was a single platform on the Down side, on which was the station building with a roof over part of the platform and track. Little trace remains of these today, Station Manor housing estate being built on the site. The end wall of the goods store exists at the end of this road and the stationmaster's house remains on the right hand side of this road, closer to the main road.Photographs
