Site Description
Belturbet was both a standard gauge and narrow gauge terminus with the GNR(I) branch from Ballyhaise approaching from the east and the C&LR approaching from the west. There was a single platform on which was the staiton building with the standard gague trains
using the south face of this and the C&LR terminating in a bay on the north side. Both companies had their own locomotive shed and turntable and there was a transshipment shed with both a narrow and standard gauge siding for goods interchange.
