Site Description

There were both Up and Down platforms here with the latter an island platform on which was the station building and signal cabin. There was a turntable on the Down side at the Cork end of the station. The branch to Clonakilty diverged on the Down side at the Bantry end of the station. The site has been oblieterated as a result of the N71 being diverted along the trackbed and through the station. A replica platform signs exists nearby.
