The single platform here is on the Down side, on which is the station building. There is a plaque commemmorating 150 years of the line on the station building. The station was renovated in 1993 in association with the Eurovision Song contest which was held in Millstreet
that year, resulting in the demolition of much of interest including an Up island platform. There is a trailing siding on the Up side. There was previously a goods store on the same side.
At the Tralee end of the station, there is a disused loading bank, between which and the level crossing was the signal cabin which was switched out in 1988 and retained until 2005 for operation of the siding and level crossing, the latter at the same end of the station.
