Site Description
There was a single platform on the Down side here with the station building thereon. The stationmaster's house was beside this. The signal cabin was at the terminal end of the platform, beyond which, was the goods store. The loco shed and turntable were opposite. There was another turntable at the Cork end of the station beside the River Ilen, which the line crossed before entering the station. The goods store, water tank and a crane remain today - a Bus Eireann depot occupies the southern end of the site.Photographs
