Site Description
Approaching the station on the Down side, there is the remains of a loading bank and the site of sidings. There were previously both Up and Down platforms at this station, which is on the Derry side of a level crossing, which had a crossing loop serving the Down platform.
The loop and platform were removed in 2016. The running line serves the Up platform, on which is the former station building. There was previously a signal cabin at the Belfast end of the station.
There is a temporary footbridge beside the level crossing, allowing access to the platform when the level crossing is closed to road traffic. The original footbridge was removed for a safety assessment and has not yet been reinstated.
