Site Description

AHB Level Crossing. The running line serves the Down platform at this closed station, the building of which has been converted to apartments. Cromore was previously a block post, the Up platform being served by a loop. The former goods area, of which, the store remains, is on the Down side. Until 1926, the narrow gauge Portstewart tramway ran from here to Portstewart village. The coastal towns here are seaside resorts and as an indicator of their status as such, there is a caravan park beside the line from MP 66 to MP67!
