Site Description
Kilmacrenan Station was to the west of the town, approximately two miles away by road in the townland of Doon. Nearby is Doon well, which was a pilgrimmage venue which generated passenger traffic to the station. The station building and platform were on the Up side with a goods store and two sidings behind this. Location wise, the station was directly above the word Doon in the centre of the map adjacent to the road.Photographs
