Site Description
Reopened in 1978 to serve the adjacent Ulster Folk and Transport Museum, there are two platforms with the former station building, adaptively reused as residential accommodation, on the Down platform. There are additional redbrick buildings beside this which are modern developments built concurrently with the restoration of the station building. There is a footbridge at the Bangor end of the station with a footpath from the station to the museum. The coping stones on the platform came from those at Goraghwood.Photographs
