Site Description
Accommodation level crossing. There was a private station here at one stage in the 19th century. Prior to the crossing, there is a public footbridge, "The Lady's Stairs", which are reputed to be haunted. The footbridge (OB54) was replaced and raised on 28th January 2007. The line runs alongside the coast here, with the grounds of Ardgillan House, like Malahide Castle, state owned, on the Down side here.Photographs
