Site Description
Approaching the station, the Up line splits in two, Belgard having a centre platfrom in addition to Up and Down platforms, to facilitate operation of the Saggart Branch. There is a canopy covering the platform. At the western end of the station, facing crossovers allow access to/from the centre platform to both running lines in a 'Y' format. The original station was a standard 2 platform station, altered to the present layout as part of the opening of the branch to Saggart.Photographs
