Site Description

The line into the original Dalkey terminus of the Atmosoheric Railway diverged on the Down side before passing under a road overbridge and ending in the cutting south of the bridge. The area of the station was later used as a refuge siding albeit accessed from the southern end of the site. The points accessing this were removed in March 1983. Irish Rail use the site as a Permanent Way dumping ground.
