Site Description

Opened in 1858, this station closed in 1882 along with Ballybrack to the south with a new station - Killiney and Ballybrack - (the present Killiney DART station) opening in lieu. The former station building is on the Up side. Your author has a personal interest in this building as my great grandmother was born here in the 1890s - her father being the stationmaster in Killiney & Ballybrack station at the time.
