Open in 1977, there are two platforms here with separate wheelchair access to both. The station building, bearing an external nameboard with the CIE logo, as well as a separate one with the Irish Rail logo is on the Up side, above the line. There is an electrical
substation on the same side outside the station. The Down platform is connected to the station building via a footbridge.
