Site Description

Level Crossing. The station here had both Up and Down platforms, but only that on the Up side remains. The station closed in 1963. The signal cabin was on the Down side before the crossing and was a block post until 1963. There was a goods area with store at the Galway end of the Up platform. The remains of a siding can be seen on the Down side. Beyond the station, the sea comes into view and remains so until Galway.
