There is one platform here on the Up side with the station building on this. There was previously a goods and cattle loading bank on the Down side. Until 1988, there was a crossing loop here - with the closure of the signal cabin as a block post in that year, the loop was
removed. It was reinstated in 2003 as part of the upgrade of signalling to CTC. The former signal cabin is at the Galway end of the Down platform. There is nameboard on this stating "WOODLAWN SIGNAL CABIN". Opposite is a disused loading bank, site of a siding and
the disused goods store, the latter being very ornate. At the Galway end of the station there is an automatic level crossing.
