Site Description
The station here closed in 1963. The platform on the Up side remains, on which is the former station building. This is now in use as a community centre, The Down platform, of which no trace remains, was served by a loop. The former goods area was on the Up side and consisted of a loading bank (now overgrown), goods store and a siding. There was previously a signal cabin on this side also.Photographs
