Site Description
Closed in 1963, both platforms remain. The Up platform, on which there is a waiting shelter and external steps to road level, was served by a loop. The derelict station buildings and signal cabin, a block post until 1963 are on the Down platform. Little remains of the cattle bank on the same side that had its own siding. There was another siding to the goods store also on this side which interestingly also served a loading bank opposite and behind the store, rather than the store being on the loading bank. There was also a siding to the ballast pit past Willsborough Level Crossing. Adjacent to the station is Lough O'Flynn.Photographs
