Site Description
CCTV controlled level crossing. Approaching the station, there is the site of a siding on the Down side - the remains of the Down line from double track days. There was a station here on the Westport side of the crossing until 1963. There was a block post here until that year as well. The former crossing keepers cottage is on the Up side between the crossing and the former station, which has both Up and Down platforms, the running line serving the former. The Down platform was served by a loop. There is a waiting shelter on the Down platform and the former station building is on the Up platform.Photographs
