Site Description
Block post. Approaching the station, the branch to Killaloe trailed in on the Up side until this closed in 1947. There are both Up and Down platforms here, but that on the Up side is disused. The signal cabin is at the Killonan end of the station on the same side. There is a trailing siding at the Killonan end of the station that previously served a loading bank behind the Down platform, since demolished. There is a separate loading bank and site of sidings on the same side. The ticket office here is a Portakabin.Photographs
