The station building is on the Up platform. There is also a Down platform, behind which there is a derelict loading bank which was previously served by a goods loop with sidings at each end. There is a lift accessible footbridge at the Cork end of the station. The former
goods area is on the Up side at the Dublin end of the station. It contains a store, loading bank and the site of sidings. On the road overbridge at the Cork end of the station, albeit not visible from the railway, is a plaque commemorating the opening of the bridge.
