Site Description
Cookstown was a terminal station for both the GNR(I) and NCC with the latter's station to the north of the GNR(I). Approaching the station, there was a loco shed and turntable on the Up side with the goods store on the Down side. There was a single platform on the same side, on which was the station building. The station building and goods store remain.Photographs
