Site Description

There are both Up and Down platforms at the closed station with the former station building on the latter. There is a water tower at the Rosslare end of this platform. The former goods area was at the north end of the station on the same side, but has since had houses built on it. Hodgsons Tramway from the Avoca mines to Arklow Harbour trailed in on the Up side before the station. No trace remains visible from the line - however, a tunnel under the road from Rathdrum to Avoca remains nearby.
