At first glance, this view doesn't appear to have much going for it. However, just sticking out above the roof line of the signal interlocking building can
be seen the roof vents of the charging plant for the erstwhile Drumm Battery Trains. Irish Rail's commitment to its heritage can be seen by the
recent demolition of this latter building, what was until said act of vandalism, the only remnant of the Drumm Battery Train.
