When the D&KR was being built, they ended up having to buy Seapoint House, which they converted for use as a hotel. They also built a footbridge
over their line for hotel patrons to get to the beach. The hotel/house and bridge are gone, but the pillars of the bridge remain, one columnar and the
other square.
