Castletown is the first general station after leaving Mullingar. Closed in 1963, the signal cabin (behind where the photo was taken from) remains to
control the level crossing. However, as the latter has been tarmaced over, don't expect to see a train passing through anytime soon. This view is
looking towards Athlone.
