Looking south towards Shanganagh Junction, this section of the closed line will not see trams due to the unwillingness of the authorities to admit that they compounded the shortsightedness of closing the original railway by selling (as late as the 1980s) the trackbed between the next road crossing and Foxrock Station to the individual houses that backed onto the line.
