The racecourse station at Newbrook was unusual in that whilst possessing two platforms, this wasn't a conventional Up and Down platform arrangement, but both platforms were on the Down side. These are located on the right here, but heavily overgrown. The site of the second track has been cleared in advance of being used as a storage location for redundant track panels.
