Located on the only platform at the station on the Up side, the signal cabin is no more. The pit in the platform is a standard arrangement for
platform based signal cabins - allowing the point levers and signal wires to emerge from the base of the cabin to their trackside position before
continuing on to the final signal/points being controlled.
