Looking north, Claremorris is an extensive station, belieing its past as a significant junction. Trailing in on the left, albeit blocked by concrete sleepers, is the line from Athenry. The mainline from Dublin comes in on the right. In the distance, the signal in the centre of the photo is the Home signal from the Burma Road, the mainline having veered away to the left before this.
