Looking towards Dublin, there is a passing loop here. The station building and goods store are on the Down side with the signal cabin on the Up
side adjacent to the level crossing. A telephone exchange can be seen to the left of the latter - a reminder that the nascent telephone network relied
heavily on the railway network for a continuous right of way.
