Tunnel boring machine for Belfast
Friday, June 1st, 2007The BBC has reported on the tunnel boring machine that will be used in the forthcoming Belfast Sewers Project. The 90 metre long piece of equipment can move six inches of earth a minute and will shift 250,000 cubic metres of dirt as it digs six miles of new tunnels under Belfast.
It is due to commence work later this month.
